Frontiers in Crustacean Biology: Asian Perspectives - Part IV

Symposium: Frontiers in Crustacean Biology: Asian Perspectives - Part IV

Held on 27 May 2024 during The Crustacean Society Summer Meeting, Taipei, Taiwan.

The symposium aims to foster interaction among carcinologists who have significantly contributed to recent developments in crustacean studies in Asia. Building upon three prior symposia of the same title, namely Part I held during the Annual Meeting of the Carcinological Society of Japan in Kashiwa, Japan, in 2017; Part II during the TCS summer meeting in Hong Kong in 2019; and Part III during ICC10 in New Zealand in 2023, the organizers are hosting the fourth part of this series. The main topics of the symposium include advanced and recent fields of Asian carcinology, such as morphology, systematics, conservation, ecology, and physiology. Proceedings from this symposium are under consideration for inclusion in the 'Advances in Crustacean Research' series published by CRC Press and Taylor & Francis Group, edited by Ingo S. Wehrtmann. The symposium organizers, Tadashi Kawai and Jibom Jung, will serve as the editors of these proceedings
